Bidding, payment, delivery, returns and consigning — in short.
How do I bid?
Register, open a lot and enter your maximum bid. The system bids for you automatically in minimum increments and never reveals your maximum. Bids are irrevocable.
What is anti-sniping?
A bid in the final 2 minutes extends the auction by 2 minutes — last-second sniping doesn’t work; everyone gets time to respond.
What do I pay on top of the hammer price?
The buyer’s premium (rate stated on the “How it works” page) and delivery. The final amount is shown in the invoice before payment.
Why are open-call prices in dollars?
They are conventional units of the format ($10/$100/$1000). All payments are made in rubles at the Central Bank rate on the invoice date, as the law requires.
Can I return a purchased work?
Before delivery — yes, at any time. After delivery unique artworks are non-returnable (Consumer Protection Law art. 26.1), except where the work materially fails to match its description or attribution — then a full refund within 14 days.
How is authenticity confirmed?
Works come directly from the authors; each purchase includes a platform certificate. If attribution is refuted by independent examination, the full amount is refunded.
How is delivery handled? Can I export the work?
Within Russia — an insured specialised courier, or pickup. Export is governed by the cultural-property law: works by living authors are generally exportable with the purchase documents; formalities rest with the buyer.
How do I join as an artist?
Register as an artist, complete your profile and submit a work via the studio. Submissions are moderated with the curator’s evaluation; once approved, the lot goes live.
What commission do artists pay?
For the founding cohort — 0%: the platform earns the buyer’s premium. Payouts are made within 10 business days of the buyer’s payment; self-employed artists issue an NPD receipt.
What do other bidders see about me?
Only an anonymised paddle number. Your name and e-mail are never shown; maximum bids are confidential.
